Can I call a template variable from a chunk?

Sorry if this is a silly question, but can I call a Template Variable from a chunk?

So I have a template variable in place (its an Image) and the resource is being called with Ditto, and using a template being stored in a chunk. Inside that chunk, I’ve called all the appropriate content from the resource, and I’ve also tried to call the TV. So its something like <img src="[*my_tv*]" /> but it doesn’t seem to be working.

Is there anything wrong with what I’m trying to do?
