Multiple content editors - possible?

Is it possible to have multiple content editors, where the editors can only edit (or even see) certain documents in the tree, and not other that belong to different editors?

Additionally all these documents must be viewable to the public.

The short answer is that as long as you create Manager User Groups and Manager Resource Groups and connect them, all the documents will be visible to everyone in the front end.

Well I used this http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=45701.0;attach=11117 to limit the managers tree view. It works just fine. The problem is that one of the documents in that managers rooturl id is a container and contains a ditto call. I want the manager to be able to add documents to the container, but do not want them to be able to edit the container.

Does this make sense at all?

Yes. I think that would be possible with permissions in Revolution. In Evolution, I don’t think you could do it without creating a plugin, but I could be wrong.
