chunk variables?

Hi all

What would be the best way to make "Chunk Variables" – like Template Variables, but associated with a chunk instead. The goal is to have a resource with its own data which could be viewed in multiple templates. Ditto does this - in that you can display a template’s TVs from a chunk, so how would I replicate that?

you could use the getField Snippet http://modxcms.com/extras/package/173 inside the chunk which would retrieve data from a "configuration" ressource

or ... if it’s only the content field you want retrieve data from, you could use a TV with @document binding http://www.sottwell.com/tv-bindings.html
