I had a regular html website. I decided to make it a modx site, so I created my own template that looked like my old site, and continued with the transition process. Everything works great except one thing: On the Support page, the body text is really small (unreadable) in Google Chrome, and it won’t even show up in Internet Explorer. The text that is supposed to show up was entered with the modx backend. It works on most of my pages, but this one it just doesn’t work. Also, the text does this on the news pages where people can comment. The instructions, like "All required fields are marked by *," are really small or don’t show up either.

Does anyone know why it is doing this or anything I can do to fix it?

    Thanks in advance!!!! smiley

If you look at your code with Firefox’s Firebug you will see that generated paragraph is getting wrapped in progress span classes. You have style7 wrapped around style3 wrapped around style6 wrapped around a UL and LIs.

I bet each of these have some CSS font size declaration that is progressively shrinking that text. It does not even show inn Firefox but does in Safari (although you cant read it.) This size reduction is getting its input from multiplying the various sizes.

I think you need to redo the text sizes in your CSS. Be careful of spans within spans etc...

        Check your validation first:
        http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.promethean.elgreeneinc.com%2Fapp%2Findex.php%3Fid%3D57&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0

There are 5 errors. The main error is with span6 which is the one making your text invisible...
