A client of mine likes to do the following: charging subscribers for a daily newsletter after a trail period of e.g. 30 days if they don’t cancel the subscription. Does anybody have an idea how this could be achieved with as little programming as possible? Does anybody know what payment gateways could be used in Europe, Germany, Switzerland but also the U.S.

Hmmm, wonder if you could use Mailchimp for the newsletter and then use something like Foxycart or just plain old Paypal for the payment end, i.e. have a kind of special membership group that has access to the page with the subscription form and then add them to that group after payment is made?
I’m sure there’s a more elegant solution, but this was my first thought.
