I am working on a multi-language website and one of them is Japanese.

When I type the Japanese content everything looks fine, but after saving it changes to a string of question marks. I can re-type it, copy and past it, but Modx keeps saving it as garbage text.

Any ideas? Is there something I need to configure to have Modx accept Japanese text?

    Thanks in advance!

Yes, you need to make sure you are using a MySQL database collation that supports your languages. Likely utf_unicode_ci would be a good choice.
