Front End Image and File Uploader

I have a client that needs to create new pages through the front-end and has to be able to upload and link to images and PDF documents. What is there that works best for this? Sorry, I can’t find anything (old repository items) on the new site. Thanks for the help.

Have you used FCKEditor? I need this to be ’dummy-proof’ for the client.

You can now select to allow web users access to the resource editor. I’ve never done it but have seen the option in the site config setting panel.

I haven’t used FCKEditor at all. But been working with TinyMCE and NewsEditor: $allowedTags which seems to make
add-url path work for not only images but also flash and videos. (Though still not got the ouput perfect yet...)

But instead of TinyMCE:

I try to get my clients to
1) Add a value to *description*
2) Then refresh (or come back) to the snippet upload form
3) If *description* empty/0 - PHx shows no snippet/gallery (chunk).
