Hi guys. I’m new to modx. I know a bit of PHP and MySQL, though it was a while since I used it.

What I want to create is something like this:
    http://electronicsscams.blogspot.com/
Where every scam site has it’s own page, easily findable through search engines, and it should preferably be possible to comment on it.

I have a list of domains for scam sites, which will probably grow to be quite large. I should probably store these in a database table somewhere?

Then I want something that automatically generates the blog posts for Ditto to display, with results similar to the above.

Could someone tell me what’s the easiest way of doing this, and where should I start reading to learn how?

nothing special with that site. did you install modx yet? that would be your first step smiley
*almost* Everything you’ll do in modx will be saves to a database.

You’ll probably create a new document for each site then you can use Ditto to display the results on whatever pages. modx seems perfect for this site IMHO smiley
Modx has Jot for comments and a nice http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php?topic=30632.0"" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">JotCo comments manager

a good place to start is here http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/Beginner’s_Guide_to_MODx to give you better understanding of how modx works.

        Hi,

I have a site where I’ve installed modx (electronicsscams.co.cc) that I’m playing around with.

What I was asking was how to automatically generate a large number of blog posts based on a list of domains, and if this can be done easily?

I’ve been reading the Ditto documentation but couldn’t find anything specifically related to this?

[EDIT] Never mind, figured it out with WordPress instead, and I can do it pretty much the same that way as with blogger.
