I’ve installed MODx in two locations within my public_html directory on my server. Why? I couldn’t get the localization code to work for my different language site and I need to launch this project very soon.
So I copied over all database structure and data and now I’d like to get my pages to step back up the directory tree and reference all my shared assets (images / javascript / css / etc.).
I thought that I could just add a ../ to the path of my resources but it doesn’t seem to work. I’m wondering if I should modify the .htaccess file to create a virtual directory? Perhaps using mod_rewrite?
