      Did you check to make sure that the folders it’s talking about exist? They are part of the MODx upload. Make sure you don’t have a corrupted download and that you’ve uploaded all the necessary files and that your folders have the correct permissions.

        Looks to me like a permissions problem; the script doesn’t even have read permissions for these, so it can’t find them.

          strange... i had set all files and directories to 777
            Mysql 5.1.52

            im getting tired of this. i re-Uploaded today and gets same error!
            why does this cms be so difficult to install?????

              do you have access to server shell?

              cd /path/to/your/folder
chmod ugo+rwx -R assets/images/ assets/flash/ assets/media/ assets/export/ assets/files/ assets/cache/
touch manager/includes/config.inc.php
chmod ugo+rwx manager/includes/config.inc.php


              don’t close shell yet, after install, do:

              rm -fR install/
chmod ugo-r manager/includes/config.inc.php
