    Hi all,
I am trying to get my noodle around the power of modx.... everytime I think I almost have it, the client will want a change that shows me that I truely do not have a firm grasp of this powerful tool.

I am looking to change the text color of the menu to #FFFFFF (White) But I cannot see where in the css file this is done.

I am using the modxhost template, so I am looking in the modxmenu.css file... I would like to change the text to white. Can one of you geniuses tell me where to look so I can change this.

The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day. Never lose a holy curiosity.

      General recipe for happiness:
Firefox + Firebug + right-click on item of interest + Inspect Element.
That will give you all you need to track down the CSS, and experiment with changes to it, too.

Oh well, you can do the same with Opera and the included DragonFly (under Tools menu).

Why so you can - I’ve used Opera’s View options before to stress-test code, but never explored the Tools menu. Thanks for the info. And for the record, IE8’s Developer Tools (F12) also gives a pretty good view of what is going on under the bonnet (or hood, depending where you are).

So @Rhyno, now you have no excuse!
