    Hi
    I want to create a new tab in admin section like tools, security etc. I want to position this after Reports.
    How can I do this?

    I tried a little bit but not get result. I placed the below code in menu.php file .

    if (!empty($toolsmenu)) {
    	echo "\t",'<li id="limenu1-1"><a href="#menu1-1" onclick="new NavToggle(this); return false;">',$_lang['tools'],'</a><ul class="subnav" id="menu1-1">',"\n\t\t",
    	     implode("\n\t\t", $toolsmenu),
    	     "\n\t</ul></li>\n";
    }
    ?>
    ***********my code starts
    <?php if($modx->hasPermission('logs')) { ?>
    <li id="limenu1-3" style="color:#FFFFFF" ><a href="https://www.google.com/analytics/settings/home?scid=6661258" onmouseover="window.status='View Traffic Reports'; return true" onmouseout="window.status=''; return true" target="main" style="color:#FFFFFF "><?php echo $_lang["traffic"]; ?></a>
    </li>
    <?php } ?>
    ***********my code ends
    	</ul>
    </div>
    </div>
    </form>

    One tab is appeared, but not with any caption.[Screenshot attached ]

    How can I fix this issue ?

    Modx version : 1.0.2

    Thanks

      The issue solved. I changed menu.php and english.inc.php[for variables] files and I fix the issue.

      Thanks

        Usually I just create a module, then add a link/icon to the module in the assets/templates/manager/welcome.html. It’s much easier to upgrade MODx if you don’t hack the core Manager scripts; a saved assets/templates folder is all that’s needed to maintain your modifications.
