I am considering MODx for my next web site upgrade and and after a few hours ’playing’ it is looking like a great solution

Just have one query re menu structure and if what I need is reasonably easy to do. I need a nested side menu that expands the next level down when the parent is selected. For example:

When Product B under tools for Usage Z is selected I want to see:

    Tools for Usage X
    Tools for Usage Z
    Product A
    Product B
    Highlights
    Technical
    New Features
    Product C
    Other Tools

    Thanks in advance

      Hi!

that’s no problem at all, you should be fine with a wayfinder-call like this:
      [!Wayfinder? &startId=`0` &hereClass=`current` &selfClass=`active` &level=`3` !]

everything else is done with your css, just have a look at the generated source-code and adapt the css to your needs

Uhm, i think gumnuts will also need to set &hideSubMenus=`true`
