I have only just noticed this happening on a couple of new installed of MODX. Previously my installs were version 0.9.x but I have moved to evo 1.0.2, but I think this would probably happen on 0.9.x as well. If I set the Tools|Configuration|Cacheable default setting to yes (which I think is default on a new install), and I have Manager open in one tab and the site open in another tab. If I make a change in manager, then refresh the site in the other tab, when I go to edit something again in manager I get the log in page and have to re-log into manager. It happens in IE and FF and if I change the Tools|Configuration|Cacheable default setting to no, this doesn’t happen.

Is this a bug or is it suppose to work like this?

    thanks

I don’t see any correlation between the cacheable default setting and your browser session ending. Is it possible some code on your page( s ) are causing the logout?
