Hi all. Not sure where this question should go exactly, so if I am in the wrong place please let me know and I’ll move it to the appropriate forum.

I am wondering if it is possible to change the installation language AFTER the initial installation -- and not lose all the site information!

I am migrating a current static HTML site to MODx for Spanish-speaking clients, and reckon that adding content will be a lot easier for them if the Manager is in Spanish, too. My Spanish is good enough to have the job, but I am not sure I am comfortable building the whole site in MODx in Spanish.

So. Is it possible to install in English, build the site, and then... upgrade, and change the installation language to Spanish before I pass it over to them?

    Thanks for any help!

Sure it is, have a look into Tools > configuration > site > language.
You can even set MODx to be in spanish and only your account in english smiley (security > manager users > *your account* > user > language)
