after upgrade \"alt tag\" instead of image

I have recently upgraded a few sites and I now have a few bugs.

I have a site that on the home page or the page with id 1 which has replaced all images with lots of backslashes and the occasional " and everytime I save the page there are more of these being added.

I am not sure how to get around this any other page I could just delete but not sure how to do this with the page id of 1.

Does anyone have any ideas

Thanks

Ian

LOL.

You couldn’t have beat me by more than a few seconds.

oh right ok have emailed them asking to turn magic_quotes off.

This php upgrade has been the biggest headache I have ever had I now have oscommerce sites with issues coppermine magneto think its time to call it a day this is all more hassle than its worth anyone wanting to take over some sites I ahve had enough of mine

Thanks for the info

You couldn’t have beat me by more than a few seconds.

wow, you’re right, the same minute

Would this possibly cause problems on the upgrade as some sites work fine and sites have issues but never the same issue. All the sites are on the same server under a reseller account.

Cheers
