On my MODx site I have noticed that the date and time for both Jot comments and ditto article are inncorect, the date itself is normally correct but the time is way out, so it must be set to the wrong timezone.
Where is the Date and Time value selected from and how can I correct it?
Many thanks!
In the manager
Tools->Configuration
Scroll down to Server offset time.
Sorry to bump this, but Ive just realised this has solved the published date for when new resources(pages) are published, but the publish date on Jot comments is still 6 hours out. How can I fix this? Do I need to change the placeholder used to display the date on Jot comment?
I don’t see a setting in jot to change that, but you can go into the jot class file and change it - which should work.
Open assets/snippets/jot/jot.class.inc.php, find line 36. (should be like the next line)
$this->_ctime = time();
Change it to this and see if it helps:
$this->_ctime = time() + $modx->config[’server_offset_time’];
