installation problelms

Hi all
I hope this is the right place to put this
I have been having problems with my installation of 1.0.2 version of Modx

the site is running on apache with php 5 which is running as an apache module
the database is MySQL version 4.1.22-Max-log
I found a couple of problems:
The default site is visible but I cannot log into the manager
It was fixed be manually transferring the templates folder assets/templates as they did not transfer
I found this out by viewing the error log This did not seem to be modx fault.

At the moment I have noticed that tinyMC does not seem to be working though the files appear to be in the correct folder.

So there appears to be a problem with the plugins. Text editor is selected in the configuration screen.

Since you found a few corrupt and/or missing files, I would recommend you start a fresh installation.

Clear your old modx files and directories, empty your database (backup first if you wish), upload the compressed MODx archive and decompress it on the server into the appropriate directory.

You’re running a fairly dated version of Mysql, you should see if it can be updated to 5.
