Edit: Nevermind! About half the time I post a question, asking is all I need to figure out the answer myself

I realized that even though I couldn’t see a page in the manager if its parents were locked away, I could still edit in the frontend editor - an even better solution for my users!
Origianl post:
I’m building a site with ModX, and I’m stuck on how to achieve this particular functionality. I need to give individual accounts that let the user edit their page and no one else’s. I’d also like them to be able to make and edit subpages.
Now the problem is this - if I make the users managers, they seem to be able to edit everyone’s pages! If there is some way to restrict this, please let me know, but I can’t seem to find a way to let them only edit pages assigned to their own user group.
The alternative, which I think is the better route, is to make the users web users. However, I can’t find an addon that meshes with my needs. They’re pretty simple. I’d just like to allow web users to edit specific pages, and possibly allow them to make and edit subpages.
Is there any addon that adds this functionality? The closest I’ve seen is NewsManager, which I couldn’t get to work, and anyway a blog structure is overkill. Raw editing of the pages would be just fine.
