I have a strange problem with MODx 1.0.0. I’m sure this was working fine last week.

[(site_url)] is returning the protocol plus IP address. So I get:

    <base href="http://xx.xxx.xx.xxx/"></base>

This causes all the links on the page to use the IP address. Any ideas how I can fix this or where to look?

UPDATE: Clearing the MODx page cache fixed it. How can I stop this from happening again?

    thanks, Andy

Prevent access via IP address using mod_rewrite and/or Apache configuration or use a Snippet to get the site_url into the base tag (so it isn’t cached if someone accesses the site via the IP address).
