MODX move error

Hi. I have just moved my MODX project to a live server. I am getting this error if I go to http://www.theurl.co.uk: modx Unauthorized access You’re not allowed to access file folder. However if I go to http://www.theurl.co.uk/index.php it works fine all my images are there, the manager permissions everything. Can anyone please explain why? I might add this is the first time I have done something like this so chances are I’ve probably forgetten something. Both URLs are working for me so either you’ve fixed it or you likely need to clear your browser cache/cookies.

I thought theurl.co.uk was just a dummy domain that actually works, IE: theurl = The url of my site.

Hi. Yes http://www.theurl.co.uk was just to outline the problem. The real url is www.restwellchairs.co.uk was worried about security issues if I had screwed up the install (like I said I have not done this before). So if I go to www.restwellchairs.co.uk/index.php all works fine without I get the error. Thanks for the help and sorry for the confusion.

Do you have an index.html in the root folder with the index.php? If so, remove that (index.html) and see if it helps.

Do you have Friendly URLs turned on in Tools | Configuration? If so, did you rename ht.access to .htaccess?

(Breezer’s idea is a better bet).
