TinyMCE Won't insert a new table

Hi All,

I’m trying to set up TinyMCE in Modx 1.0.0.
I’ve set the interface and features in config to ’custom’ and appended the menu to include ’tablecontrols’ so I can see the insert table button and the other table options.
But when I go to insert a table it loads the table window, then when you press insert nothing happens other than the table window refreshes..

when i check the code view after. All thats been inserted in to the code is ’<p>&nbsp;</p>’

Has anyone else encountered this / know of a solution?

did you add ",table" at the end of the list of the Custom Plugins field, too?

Yes I have this is what the plugin/custom buttons strings look like.

plugins: style,advimage,advlink,searchreplace,print,contextmenu,paste,fullscreen,nonbreaking,xhtmlxtras,visualchars,media,table
custom buttons row 3: tablecontrols

The theme is set to custom

Well I’ve found a workaround..

There is clearly an issue with tinyMCE itself.
It doesnt work on the following browsers: ie6, safari, chrome

but appears to work fine on firefox, and ie8 (I havent tried ie7 but knowing ie7 it probably wont work).

I hope someone else finds this useful.
