The forum feedback solution is from a third party, and as such we don’t have control over their authentication. Creating that from scratch would have been impossible for the foreseeable future.

You can submit sites using either the link under the side navigation or the link in the intro paragraph to the Made in MODx Gallery. Look for new additions coming soon.

And you can use it to give other companys/products feedback once you created a account over there.

Just a quick reminder that there are also http://modx.it/ and http://modxclub.com/ as alternatives to getting your MODx sites some attention smiley

On the old site I could go to the Resources section and see what the latest resources (ie. snippets/plugins/modules, etc) were. How does one do that in the new site? Wayfinder 2.0 and Ditto are not the latest released resources or Packages.

Great work on the new site!!!! I saw it the other day but didn’t see this thread and I sent my bravo to getsatisfaction.com  smiley
Not a fan for purple color however I must say it loudly that the combination is great! Simple and elegance.

Well sorry to be a bore here, but the Dito links I posted in this thread are all still 404’s, added to which the documentation site has been down all day for me. I get a 502 error.

Unlike some here I’m not a day to day MODx user, in fact I used it for a specific site where it was expected that editing would be by the user community. Not only didn’t this happen but owing to commercial time pressure little happened until recently. Therefore, I’m not that knowledgeable, though I see no reason to have to apologise for that, and not being able to access much that has been written makes using the product frustrating. Equally, to still have links unreconciled after this length of time, would, sorry boys & girls, get me fired by any of my clients.

                    Regards

traveller_ted: you will need to count on the community for now until the documentation links are worked out.

Ditto has it’s own supprt site that has not been modified with the new MODx site: http://ditto.modxcms.com/ Actually the links from the old site were outdated anyways (they should all go to the Ditto site) which may be why they were not redirected.

The community wiki (as opposed to the documentation wiki) has a wealth of information: http://wiki.modxcms.com/

I can’t reach the documentation wiki either so there may be some maintenance or other problem. I get this error:
                      Proxy Error

The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request GET /docs/display/MODx096/DocumentParser+Object.

Reason: Error reading from remote server

And, no, you should not have to apologize. The project really needs more documentation, I hope this gets worked out soon.
