Upgrade somehow broke our URLs for our pages

We had a fully working website with modx. Upgraded modx, then all seemed well until we tried some of our links. We’ve used some code to dynamically have some page URLs created by MySQL data.

For some reason, the URLs that no longer work (listed below) send me to the homepage when accessed, instead of showing their content as they once did.

Example 1:
https://www.my-website.org/resources/current-publications (works)
https://www.my-website.org/resources/current-publications/contract-terms-and-conditions-reference-for-product-design-consultants (doesn’t work)
https://www.my-website.org/cart/checkout (doesn’t work)

Example 2:
https://www.my-website.org/membership/membership-directory (works)
https://www.my-website.org/membership/membership-directory/5/ (doesn’t work)
https://www.my-website.org/membership/membership-directory/10/ (doesn’t work)

I’ve used masked URLs in the interest of confidentiality of my client.

I know our snippets didn’t change and I can still see them. In fact, our snippets themselves make calls to PHP includes, so our snippets are tracked in SVN...so I’m positive these pages didn’t change.

Totally stumped here. This is busy season for this client so hopefully somebody has an idea.

There is now a plugin in 1.0.2 named Transalias which might be conflicting with your urls somehow, try disabling it and see if that helps.

Awesome. I’ll try that now.

No luck. I disabled it and it’s still redirecting those deep URLs to the homepage.

Perhaps a change in the .htaccess file? I just looked at a stock 0.9.6.3 vs. 1.0.2, and in the 1.0.2 the Options +FollowSymlinks setting is uncommented whereas in the 0.9.6.3 it’s commented out.

If that doesn’t shine a light, hopefully someone else will come up with an idea/solution to help.

I sure hope so. The .htaccess file on the current site is the same as my backup. Bummer.

Hope an admin or a mod can jump in and shed some light. This is a weird one, as an upgrade hasn’t done this to us until now. They’ve always worked great!

Still no success with this. Any seasoned modx guys know of what might cause this? This client is totally down for the count and cannot process orders as a result. It’s the weirdest thing.
