    Hi ppl,

I couldn’t find the META keywords tab when editing a document, but finally i found out that it was disabled. But i now also read in configuration that this tab is deprecated.

What is then the new way of adding META tags?

    I’m using version 1.0.2

    Regards,

    Tyronne

Using @INHERIT in a TV (template variable)
Create a TV called "keywords" with the default value "@INHERIT".
      Add "<meta name="keywords" content="[*keywords*]" />" to your template.
Put your favorite keywords in the TV "keywords" ONLY in the home category page (ie. www.yoursite.com/webdesign.html) and leave the default value @INHERIT for all the article pages inside the categories.

        Hi,

But this way you can’t use different keywords and description for each page can you? Then I prefer the old way.

You can change the values of TVs on every page in a manner of speaking the content area is a TV so technically you’ve already used TVs on your site.

The @INHERIT code tells pages that you haven’t added keywords to manually to use the parent documents keywords. So any sub pages will use the keywords from the top page until you change them.

Hope that clears things up some.
