Getting the "No input file specified." message just after install at
http://www.mysite.se/subfolder/manager/index.php
I put the contents of the modx-1.0.2 folder into
http://www.mysite.se/subfolder/, because I want modX to be in a subfolder of the page.
I also altered the ht.access file in subfolder with:
RewriteBase /subfolder
Everytying went dandy with no errors during install. I followed the procedures on this page:
http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/Installation_Guide I was trying to set the CHMOD rights on the listed files and directories to 666 using set permissions in dreamweaver, but pressing OK and calling up the set permissions box again showed the old value, despite saying that file transfer was OK, I never figured it out. Could this have something to do with the error?
I’d be most grateful if you could lend a tip. PS. I’m noob so spell it out clearly.
Web Server:
* PHP 5.2.12
* Apache 1.3
* Linux
* phpinfo():
http://www.one-docs.com/php5/
Database:
* MySQL version: uncertain, Serverversion: 5.0.32-Debian_7etch11-log ?
* List of any tables over 1MB in size, none
MODx:
* Version 1.0.2
Browser/Client:
* Firefox, 3.0.16
* Win XP 32 Pro
* Explorer 8 gives 404 error instead of the message input file not specified.
UPDATE:
I tried insatting again, setting file permissions (as in structed at
http://svn.modxcms.com/docs/display/Evo1/Basic+Installation) with fileZilla. Now if rowsing to
http://www.mysite.se/subfolder/manager/ I get a forbidden message. Also the "No input file specified." message still appears at
http://www.mysite.se/subfolder/manager/index.php
Please advise.
