    Hi all,

Hope you can help me out here, i’m turning the Rewrite browser paths? feature to no in the hope that it will write all image paths as absolute URLs, but for some reason every time i change a page that contains images it keeps reverting to the relative URLs instead. Does anyone know how to make this work.

Here’s what i need to do.

One main website that i have micro sites with individual domains pulling data out of the main modx database, the problem is the only thing that’s not working is the images, this is because is trying to locate them from assets/images/pic.png when i need them to be www.test.co.uk/assets/images/pic.png, this way all of the micro site i create from the original master site can all be updated form one single source.

Any advice would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks
    Lee

Rewrite browser paths? - Set to No

That should do the trick for you, but I am unsure it will change existing paths.

That is exactly what i’ve already done but for some reason the image paths keep relative and not absolute?

I wonder if this is a bug with the newer Modx?
