Has anybody experience any issue running Modx on a server that is already running Joomla? If so, please let me know!

I’m not critical of Joomla! at all. It’s a great system for many applications. Granted you’ll find quite a few users who traded up to MODx on the forums too.

I had joomla on my servers. Then I installed modx. Then there was no more reason
ever again use joomla. The only conflict was my love to modx... I almost feel bad.
//joomla is today happy married and have kids. Happy ending. The End.
In more than one occasion I have publicly poked fun at Joomla and Drupal.. Yes, it was me 
But the truth is I have a true respect for both those systems.
