I would like to allow each webuser to have its own profile page with clean urls, for example :
http://mysite.com/user-profiles/cutie1985.html
This will require custom development, so i began to set up the thing.
The url rewriting management was quickly done by adding one line into .htaccess :
RewriteRule ^(.*)\.html$ /profile.php?user=$1 [L]
The problem is I can’t display chunks nor run snippets from profile.php, because I don’t know what to include to make the API reachable from an external php file. $modx->getChunk and parseChunk do not output something if called directly.I’d rather use modx api than 3rd party stuff like cakemodx.
