I have a problem on our website which programmed on MODx and need some help.
The MODx version is 0.9.6 and PHP/MYSQL. I am sorry that I cannot provide other info since our original programmer left the project and we don’t have anybody including myself who understand MODx or web programming.
What happened is we tried to update some information on our website but the site was unresponsive. We closed out of Firefox and tried to log into the website, but it would not allow us to, after a couple attempts it wouldn’t even load the home page, just a blank white page. We restored the website using back up from our web host but every time we tried to update, the same thing happened again. We didn’t have this problem for about 6 months after launching our site. Web host suggests there may be problem on cashe.
What are the possible causes? Does somebody have any suggestion for solution?
What are you trying to update and how are you going about it? Are you doing modifications from the backend manager or by modifying files directly?
