I want to display my gallery/doc id 1 in left of my home page and content of doc Id2 in right side of the same page. I have created two tables in template and what is the modx content tag for that ??

Also, is there any problem if I use tables instead of div s

You can use a snippet to load the data from the second page (Ditto or if it is a simple setup GetField)

      OR

You can bind a TV to a document content with the @DOCUMENT binder create a TV and place @DOCUMENT 12 (instead of 12 put the ID of the document you are binding to). Note that this will only include the content field.
