I recently upgraded to the AjaxSearch 1.8.4.
When I try to call the the snippet I get the following message:
"AjaxSearch: unknown database_connection_charset =
Add the appropriate Html charset mapping in the search.class.inc.php file"
Problem is that the database_connection_charset is not picket up, so I don’t know what mapping I am to add. The DB charset is latin1_swedish_ci, and the search.class.inc.php has a mapping for this?

Sorry this post is probably in the wrong section.
Anyone know where the global $database_connection_charset; in search.class.inc.php comes from?
It is empty when I add a new AjaxSearch, and im guessing it probably should not be!!
FIXED!!
Problem was in the MODx config.inc.php file. The line:
$database_connection_charset = ’’;
Needed to be changed to:
$database_connection_charset = ’latin1’;
No idea why it was not set? (MODx 0.9.6.1p2)
