Hi, does the template (blank) (like when used for an RSS with ditto) have access to TVs assigned to the template involved in the blog that is reported by the RSS feed?

If not how do I add this?

Yes, the TVs are accessed by the template that is assigned to their perspective pages when used through a Ditto tpl. In other words the document that ditto is calling needs to have access to the TVs and not the document where Ditto is residing on. Hope that makes sense wink

If you want to assign TVs to a "blank" template yiou need to create a template with no content and then assign the TVs to that template. But this should not be the case when you are creating a feed with Ditto.

        invalid XML output then?

The TV calls just will not give anything back when the RSS feed is read. I had it working earlier but all of a sudden it stopped working. I have tried everything possible, even re-installing ModX to no avail...

I’m guessing that MODx sees [[!rss_pagetitle]] as an unrecognized snippet and replaces it with nothing.

Try putting in extra spaces, like this:

[+rss_pagetitle+]
