When i search for this i get some old threads, not sure if this has been resolved already in newer modx releases?

I’m using friendly url’s with the suffix: .html
However i want my xml files to have .xml extension instead.

    Currently using MODx evolution 1.0.1

    Any suggestions? =)

Hi shark! Nice plugin, if only it would work grin

i followed the instructions here http://modxcms.com/extras/package/395

But when i choose "seoOverwrite: Base Name" i get nothing.. it just output my site as .xml.html undecided

does the plugin work at all, or is it just the seoOverwrite settings that doesn’t?

could be...maybe disable yams for once to test

+ the SEO Strict without in <?php ?> in the plugin code area

When i disable yams plugin, friendly url’s dosent work so i think there is a very fair chance the issue is somehow yams related.
                  - think this is because i made some adjustments to .htaccess to make yams work.
I don’t suppose i could write a special rule in my .htaccess for just this page? laugh

No wonder it wasn’t working jan!! YAMS has its own way to do this, and was conflicting with the SEO plugin smiley
Just had to make some changes in yams config
