Can't download modx

When I go to the modx download page and try to download v1.0.2 (or any other version), I’m taken to a donation page where can either donate right now or postpone my donation. I choose to postpone since I’d like to try the product before I make any financial contribution. However, then nothing happens. The page just sits there doing nothing. I can’t for the life of me download modx.

I tried different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome), they all do the same. Is this some weird scheme where "suggested" donation is actually mandatory? Or is there something else at work?

I know I’m new here, and I don’t mean to offend, but that was a terrible bug to have on your website. Not exactly the best way to convince new users. I just wasted an hour troubleshooting my own connection and system just to download your software.

We definitely understand; we just upgraded our system about an hour ago and this caused the downloads to break. Thanks for noticing.
