I’m managing the development of a website for a client and I’m using ModX but I’m fairly new to it.
The client wants a page that has both:
1) Content controlled by the client ONLY (that everyone sees that nobody else has permission to edit)
2) Content controlled by the administraor of the company who has access to our website.
So basically what I’m looking for is the ability for a user to log in to the/a content manager (just like with Wordpress or some other blogging system like that) and create articles under custom categories (that they define). However on the same page there will be articles and categories that are created by us that they don’t have permission to edit.
I know that blogging is a fairly common thing to want to be able to do - just not sure if you can mix 2 types of permission levels onto the same page??
Would appreciate any help here. Really keen to NOT reinvent the wheel and hopefully use some cool ModX plugin to get this done!!!
