    Hi,

I’m using 1.02 and trying to restrict a user from editing a page, so I’ve done the following:

Created a user group and resource group and linked them. Added the user to the group under Create/Edit User general tab. Then deselected the newly created user group under the page’s access permissions tab.

I thought this would do it, but it hasn’t worked. They can still edit the page when logged in.

    Is there something I’ve missed?

    Many thanks

The document has to belong to a document (resource) group that the user is not connected to. Otherwise it’s "public" that is everybody can edit it.

The page belongs to the resource group "Site Admin Pages" only. The new group is unchecked.

What role does your user have?

It’s a bespoke role I’ve created based on the default, and just adding the following:

            Create new Resources
            Edit a Resource
            Save Resources
            Publish Resources
            Delete Resources
