I have been having a load of problems getting furls to work on my site.
But after reading loads about htaccess files and learning not to combine base_url tags when site_url is declared in the header - things seem to have calmed down to a useable state.
All but for one very strange thing...

I am using two machines to debug the code, and on one of them (a powermac g5) firefox just will not follow any links away from the home page - instead it just stalls, until after a few minutes it loads a blank page (no timeout, no errors in console or on apache log).
The home page will load, once - then any attempt to navigate using any page links causes the stall, and once it is stalled it will not load any pages, not even reload the home page.
The only solution is to delete history, clear cookies, and try again - and i get one page, but no more.
When i turn cookies off in that ff browser, everything is fine.
strange because firefox on the other machine (an ibook) handles the site perfectly, cookies and all.

What I am wondering is - Is there any need for a simple basic modx site to require a cookie at all? could I make it so that no cookie is set by my site? and if so how?

    the site is http://www.creative-process.com

    thanks for any help
