    Hello,

I am wanting to use Modx to allow specific users to manage and edit their own resources from within MODX. I have it set up to have a Resource group and user group set up separately per user (User 1 is attached to User group 1, which is combined with Resource 1), which does work great to restrict document access per user. I do have to set up a user/document group per user, which may get a bet hectic, but at least works. However, it doesn’t seem to make sense to have two separate log ins in order to access the same data.

Is there anyway to have a single user have access to both the pages on the frontend, as well as edit the pages in the backend? Or have access to the front end but be able to edit them using the front end management tools?

    Thanks!

I tried adding a Manager Login Startup page, but it doesn’t appear to be giving that user access on the front end to the resources it should be.

Enter the ID of the Resource you want to send the user to after he/she has logged into the manager. NOTE: make sure the ID you’ve enter belongs to an existing Resource, and that it has been published and is accessible by this user!

How do I make sure it’s accessible by that specific Manager user? I have that manage user attached to the resource ID that the resources are added under. Or by "accessible by this user" it just means it *has* to be listed as public?
