    Hi,

I’m new to using MODx, and have got it working perfectly on XAMPP. I’ve put my site together and now installed MODx on my server. I can view the site itself, and log into the manager, but the File Manager is not working. I can’t work out what to put in the "File base path" field in configuration. The Manage Files option under Elements shows me a list of files which don’t recognise.

The path to my installation is:
    /home/myaccount/public_html/mysite.co.uk

I have more than one domain on the same hosting account and the domain where MODx is installed is an add-on domain.

If anyone can advise, I would be very grateful.

    Thank you in advance.

I have tried setting the File Manager path to \home\myaccount\public_html\mydomain.co.uk, as per the value of the PHP variable _SERVER["DOCUMENT_ROOT"]

However I then get an Access Denied message.

...i had a similar problem on apache shared host, turns out i needed to use full path as this:

        /var/www/vhosts/apepp.info/httpdocs/

        ...and set "basePathRelative" to "No"...
