FURLS alias path and file download plugin

Hi All,

I’ve been playing with modx configuration and would really like to enable the alias path and allow duplicate FURLs. I’ve noticed that when I test it things stop working and it all points to the rewrite rules in htaccess.

I’m currently using FileDownload snippet and FileDownload Plugin. Does any one know what rewrite rule would work with both?

I know that: RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php?q=$1 [QSA] works for FURLs and alias path but RewriteRule ^([^/]*)/?(.*)$ index.php?q=$1&d=$2 [QSA,NC] breaks the website.

I’ve tried ^{document path download page}/(.*)$ index.php$q=$1&d=S2 but I just get a file not found when clicking on a download link: eg /download/file.txt or parent/download/file.txt

Can anyone help?
