I am receiving this error, following an upgrade from 0.9.5 to 0.9.6.3 when I try to login as a user from the main page.

    INCLUDE_ORDERING_ERROR

Please use the MODx Content Manager instead of accessing this file directly.

The procedure that I used for the installation of the backed up site was this:

    1) Dropped all tables in the database
    2) Imported database backup
    3) Uploaded 0.9.5 assets and manager folders
    4) Tested site ... everything worked.

To upgrade the site I used the alternate upgrade method on this link:

    http://svn.modxcms.com/docs/display/MODx096/Upgrading

After doing the install/upgrade, it was necessary to remove the embedded backward ticks around the dbase$ variable, as these are introduced by the installation script and create an access violation error.

This function works in 0.9.5. You can login at http://agenthunter.com.au
    ID: testing suppliers
    PW: testing1

The same ID exists on the upgraded site at http://newmarketer.us. If you try it there, you will see the error noted above.

Can someone please point me in the right direction to resolve this error so I can move forward with the completion of this site on a current revision of the software?

    Thanks in advance.

Please provide more information about your environment (see the help us help you link in my signature). Also, you really should upgrade to the latest 1.0.2 version since it contains many fixes and security updates not found in 0963.

I’m upgrading the development environment to MODx 1.0.2. I’ll report back after that has completed, assuming the same problem exists. If I do come back, I’ll be sure to include all the details in the "help us help you" link you referred me to.

This error still exists after the upgrade. The topic, with the latest updates, is active at this link:
