Custom Install w/ pre-populated Resources, Chunks, Snippets, etc

We’ve been running 963 custom install that has been white labeled with our company info along with pre-populated documents/resources, extra tabs in the navigation, chunks, TVs, snippets, etc. We then use a shell command that pulls from our SVN version of the install. This is what I want to replace with 1.0.2.

I’ve recreated the install with the said pre-populated information using 1.0.2 now I’m at a point where I need those resources to be there for the install process. I’m aware that it has something to do with the /install/setup.data.sql & /install/setup.info.php (anything else?). Also, I noticed in our current install all the chunks & snippets have .tpl files. Would those need to be recreated and how? Do I just copy/paste the info in the chunk/snippet in a text file and save as a .tpl file?

The problem is that I’m not very fluent with MySQL and how to get all those snippets, chunks, documents, tvs, etc in the db tables. Any help would be appreciated.
