    Hello,

I Tried to change the path of my website. Which was stupid to do, I discovered wink. So I changed it all back. Everythings works, but I only get the standard host index.html (which says something about installation in public_html) when I go to www.domainname.com/modx/ and I don’t get my websites (index.html) landing page which it used to do before I tried to change the path. So how can I get the landinig page off my modx website when I got to the modx folder instead of the standard hosting template? Got it fixed!

But still the question: is it actually possible to move your site to an other folder. Or would you get problems with the installed plugins/snippets etc?

Properly written snippets and plugins should have no trouble with the relocation.

I develop sites on a development server all the time and have to change them to another domain, the only problem you will have is if you have any absolute url’s for linking things and change the paths in the configuration section in the manager section.
