document access: "register users" vs "URL-keyed" access

Hi all!

I have a private document that only register users can access.
Is it possible to give access to a friend to this document by sending him what I would call an "URL-keyed" link ?

I know this is possible for the well-known photo gallery of Google (Picasa).
With Modx, does a snippet/module/chunk already features this ?

Thanks

nobody knows please....

Nothing like this is built-in, no. However, you could easily write custom scripts for those pages that would check for either this "URL-key" or proper user permissions.

Thanks for your answer !!
So I’ll try to do it when I have time...
