Template Variable Input Types

I was looking at the various TV Input Types. Most make sense...

But what exactly is the difference between the ’Text’, ’Number’ and ’Email’ input types?
They all seem to give the same text entry and there is no validation to prevent for example none numeric values in the ’Number’ input type or for ’Email’ type an address being valid. Am I missing something???

I don’t think much happens on the back end with them in Evo.

Thanks Ryan. So they are in a near legacy existence then. S’pose it would make sense to either remove the ’Email’ and ’Number’ types or add some sort of rudimentary validation. I’d obviously vote for the validation option
