i have friendly URLs active and am afraid i have a duplicate content issues. i have the trailing forward slash entered as the suffix.
these two URLs show the same content:
http://www.mydomain.com/about-us (without trailing slash)
http://www.mydomain.com/about-us/ (with trailing slash)
i have tried this htaccess addition to fix it but it did not work.

(i realize this is to remove the slash)
if i could get the instructions at the link to work it would be fine, but ideally i would like the trailing slash to always be shown.
