Hi Forum. I’m in the process of setting up my first site with MODx but have run into some problems getting the add-on phpThumb to work. Basically what I need is for thumbnails to be automatically generated when the end-user will upload images. I have some simple test code, which is all working except for the generation of the thumb:
Ditto call:
[[Ditto? &orderBy=`createdon ASC` &tpl=`prod_articles`]]
Chunk code:

<img src="[+test_image:phpthumb=`w=50`+]" alt="thumb" />

Like I say all other variables appear as they should, except the thumbnail. I have zero php experience so I’m a bit lost. I’m thinking maybe I’ve done something wrong in the installation? I’ve installed all the files from the package, created a new snippet, and created the cache directory (although I can’t see it - is this supposed to be a hidden directory?)
If anyone has any ideas as to what I’ve done wrong or can guide me through the install process in simple terms it would be greatly appreciated! (I really need to get this site up and running ASAP)
