Hide TV when another TV says so

I’m looking for a way to use a Template Variable to turn another Template Variable on/off in the template.

Don’t get me wrong: the TV can remain in the manager. I just don’t want the contents of it showing up, if the ’ShowTV’ variable is 0 or something similar.

I’m a bit stuck on where to start with this. Looking at another tutorial on the Wiki http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/Create_TV-Based_Chunks I’m expecting I’ll need to make a snippet to show/hide the TV?

Just how would I do that? I’m sort of stuck.

Did it with ChunkIf.

Had to modify it a lil’ bit but works now.

ChunkIf is probably faster and will use fewer resources. I just mention this for those not up to working with ChunkIf.
