    Hi All,
I thought it was time i decided to take the plunge and start creating cms websites.
What have i let myself in for.
I’m embarassed to say i’m having installation problems.
The server connection test is fine but it won’t create a database with the default settings.
I don’t have a database for the proposed site yet or is that the problem, i don’t think it is, more like i’m missing something completely obvious.
    Cheers
    Tony

Often, you have to create the DB yourself using PhpMyAdmin via cPanel (or the equivalent). Create a user for that DB too, with full rights. Then use the DB name and user/pwd when you do the MODx install.
